The Salinity Pen Plus+ (SP+) is a water resistant, portable, easy to use instrument that uses electrical conductivity to determine the Salinity/Specific Gravity of natural and/or artificial seawater.
The unit rapidly displays Salinity (ppt), Specific Gravity (SG) and Temperature (Celsius/Fahrenheit), on an easy to read LCD screen.
The SP+ can be easily calibrated in seconds using the included Salinity Standard Solution (30ppt).

Best way to measure salinity
I upgraded from the old school hand held Refractometer. Works exactly as advertised. No fuss. Really easy.

Super easy and accurate
I also have the icecap digital tester, I haven’t been happy with it at all. Not accurate and with no calibration it’s basically useless. I preordered the Poseidon Salinity Pen and wow was it worth the risk. This thing is super accurate all the time. And it’s soooo easy to calibrate. A must have for every Reefer.
